Leaving party

I am so lucky to have such amazing friends and had a wonderful leaving party. I had old students, friends I made in the first week here and new friends alike all in one place. There is a bar which has old board games wine in penguin jugs- what can go wrong! Followed by another bar and then as a special treat a friend took me to a choripan cart- a truck which sells a type of sausage sandwich. They have these all over the city but we went to ones which are open all night and by the river. So we there we were 5 o'clock in the morning, dressed up for a night out eating a £1 sausage sandwich watching the ferries and the sun come up. A great way to end a fabulous night!

Closed door restaurant

BA has a type of restaurant called the closed door restaurant- equivalent to a pop up restaurant but without a time limit. They are usually in someones home, cooked by the chef and owner of the home and with a waitier. Sometimes they have group tables and usually its only about 20-30 people per service. I went to an asian themed closed door restaurant Friday night. It was spectacular food and a great experience and wonderful house.
