Kayaking with the Sea Lions

Steve and I went out for a morning kayaking to a colony of sea lions. It was incredible there would be a male with a harem on females. The females and pups were more adventurous and would swim up to our kayak and investigate and play around. They were also really funny when making noises. The females sounded like drunk sheep or donkeys and the males had a booming wail. The sea-lions walk like they are dogs on land which is also pretty funny to watch. We were able to have a relaxed kayak and the sea lions would come to us. We then stopped on a beach half-way through the trip for a mate and cake- very civilised!
